Transforming Water to Wine: Kayak turns to Wine

There are many ways you can do a tour. One way of doing it is to take it through kayaking, hitting two birds with the proverbial stone. Who says you can’t enjoy two hobbies at a time?

Wine Tasting and Kayaking

Often, wine tasting and kayaking are separate. Not if you’ve got the two in close proximity with each other, though. Here are some fun things you can expect.

  • Kayaking lessons on the fly. If you’re a first-time kayaker, you’re going to appreciate the lessons they’re going to give. Lessons on how to board a boat and keep moving on the water will be given as well as how to get off.
  • Fun experiences on the rapids. As you travel on the water, you’re going to have different experiences. You’re really going to appreciate the lessons you were given now. You’re going to have to keep safe, and with the lessons, remain safe on the water.
  • Wine tasting. Once you’ve reached the place, wine tasting is one thing you can look forward to. You can also look forward to choosing wines which you can bring on the trip back. Wine orchards always have some for sale.
  • Food and wine. There is also the issue of where you’re going to eat on the trip back. Fortunately, the kayaking trip provides. Wine orchards also have food choices to pair with the wine they’re selling.
  • New friends. If you’re joining the boat group on the fly, expect some new friends after you’ve gone from the wine orchard. You can also expect a much-later return trip if you’ve gone to the orchard earlier.

A Seasonal venture

Wine tasting often happens during the period of February to November. Be prepared to bring fees and the usual dry bag for your gadgets and clothes. Always remember to bring something to keep the sun away from your skin. Just remember your lessons, and you’re going to come away with just a light buzz from the wine tasting.
